Development, Maintenance, and Update of the NOS

To enhance the quality and relevance of environmental education and training by collaborating with industry stakeholders to develop, maintain, and update the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for environmental work to ensure that educational and training programs align with current environmental science practices, providing clear guidelines for educators and trainees. ​

Providing Educational Programs

To provide scholarships and financial assistance to individuals pursuing education or training in environmental studies at educational institutions, ensuring these opportunities are accessible to all, including those facing barriers and furthest from employment. ​
